Venturing into Burberry

Late last year, I finally got round to trying Burberry’s make up line after lusting for quite some time.

I was in Duty Free before going to Australia (as if that was just over a month ago?!) and there was a Burberry counter. Naturally, I spent quite some time perusing before finally settling on a Sheer Eyeshadow in Pale Barley.
Firstly, how sexual is the packaging? Seriously luxe.

So in the pan, Pale Barley looks like a completely nothing, boring medium brown. Oh but to judge it on the pan is an absolute crime! If I had to wear just one single eyeshadow for the rest of my life, I’d probably choose this one. It’s got a wonderful iridescence to it that adds a gorgeous shimmer across the lids with a gold tint to it. What I love most is that you really don’t have to pair this with another colour as it seems to darken in the cease to add depth.
I’ve used this eyeshadow non-stop when I was away and I’ve used it absolutely loads since I got home. Over the past week I’ve kind of neglected it for Too Faced Chocolate Bar Palette, but that’s another story for another blog post.
A couple of weekends ago, I was at Meadowhall and found that good ol’ reliable Boots has it’s own Burberry counter and it’s even online. I am so impressed!
Have you been lusting after Burberry?
Love, Kate xo
