What’s that? Two tutorials in as many weeks – who even am I?
Continuing on with the autumn/fall theme – I decided to go for a bold brows/lips look, keeping the rest of the face pretty minimal. I love a good, strong Delavigne brow and it’s the season for vampy lips.
For my skin, I used two Revlon products – their Photo Ready Perfecting Primer and an old favourite, Nearly Naked foundation. For concealer, I used a smidge of the Rimmel Match Perfection. I wanted to keep the skin quite sheer but polished. I finished off the skin with a touch of MAC Harmony Blush to subtly sculpt my cheeks and also add a touch of warmth. That was it for the skin, no blush or highlight.
For eyes I used the lighter shades in my current go-to palette – Smashbox Blue Eyes, which is full of really lovely day to night shades. I added the medium brown shade as a subtle shading through my crease. I then added lashings of Rimmel Scandal Eyes Mascara which I’ve rather been enjoying. It gives a doll-esque look and makes my bottom lashes look amazing.
Brow wise, no change. My trusty Hourglass Brow Arch Sculpting Pencil in Blonde had its daily feature. I’ve had this since April, used it everyday and it’s still going strong. Pricey but a good ‘un. I filled my brows in slightly stronger than usual as they would be a main focus.
The most vampy stage of the look had to be the lips and I wanted a berry/wine like shade and it had to be MAC Dark Side. It’s super pigmented and has a semi-matte finish, with slightly glossy feel. I love the Amplified finishes, they’re neither matte nor super glossy as they kind of fit in the middle.
I hope you enjoyed the video!
