It’s that time….last night I stayed up until 2am watching the red carpet from this years Academy Awards. I ended up having just 4 hours sleep but I cans safely say it was worth it. There was some seriously gorgeous looks on the red carpet.

Big congratulations to Eddie Redmayne on his win – what a performance in The Theory of Everything! Julianne Moore finally got her gong after 5 nominations and a 12 years between her last nomination.

Major princess vibes right here! I don’t even know where to begin – hair, flawless. make up, flawless. beading, flawless. train, flawless. deep v, flawless….you get the hint.
It’s not often I’m obsessed with a monochrome dress but this Tom Ford number is classy, sexy and fitted perfectly. I love that Reese had her hair tucked behind her ears and she kept her make up really soft and pretty.
Uh, as if Rosamund had a baby like 5 minutes ago! This dress had everything – the perfect neckline, the clinched in waist and the deep slit. I’m in awe! I loved her undone up do and minimal make up that let the dress take centre stage.
Jenna never fails to look anything less than perfect does she? I loved the orange toned lip with the slicked back simple pony. The dress fitted her body perfectly an accentuated her small waist whilst giving her a beautiful hourglass silhouette.
I loved that Sienna went structured and simple last night. It was the perfect presenter dress, not too over the top and very classy. I adore the texture throughout the dress along with the subtle bows. Her hair and make up was without a doubt one of my favourites – no surprise really that ‘The Queen’, Charlotte Tilbury did her make up.

Someones growing up! This is how you do youthful, Oscars red carpet. It’s grown up without being old fashioned but still has that air of old school glamour. Chloe’s hair looked beautifully highlighted and the ear cuff kept everything slightly edgy.

I say this time and time again, Naomi Watts can do no wrong in my eyes. I loved the metallic, brick style texture of the dress and the edgy cut out. The hair was flawless and she just gets every risk absolutely right.

First time attendee, Jamie wore this stunning, almost firework inspired gown that had so many different dimensions to it. I can imagine it looked even better in the flesh. She looked like a perfect doll especially with her deep parted waves.

Dakota was easily one of my favourites on the red carpet in this sexy red number. I loved the one shoulder detail – especially the rope detail which was so clever. Her simple pony worked seamlessly with the dress and I couldn’t get enough of this look and neither could Twitter.

I had to feature this babe didn’t I? When she does full on glam, she does it so so well. I sobbed at her flawless performance and she really had a career defining moment. The dress was classy whilst still having that Gaga twist!
Who was your best dressed?

 Love, Kate xo
