THE LOW DOWN ON MAKE UP FOREVER

Like Too Faced, there was another brand that I’d wanted to try for the longest time and that was Make Up Forever. This brand was seriously hard to get hold of in the UK, the only place I managed to find any products was Guru Make Up Emporium. Thankfully, Sephora stocks it and I brought 4 items back from Dubai/Australia with me. Fear not, however as word on the street is that it will be coming it Debenhams later this year. This news was like music to my ears and I will definitely be adding more products to my collection.
I am really impressed with my purchases and I’ve been happily using them regularly since buying them. The first item I picked up was the HD Powder ($35.00) which I’d had my eye on for quite some time. I’m always in the market for a new powder as my t-zone often rears its ugly head and I need to tame the shine. I’ve got to use this lightly with a soft brush as over loading can white out my face or leave it slightly ashen. However, using just a smidge really sets everything in place and it lasts pretty much all day. I followed up the HD Powder with the HD Invisible Cover Foundation ($42.00), that I like to call a YouTube classic. Not that I need any more foundations but I’d have been a fool not to pick this up. I went for the shade 125 Sand which I think was a pretty good match considering I’ve gotten a little pale since coming back from my holiday. This foundation is great for wearing sheer but flawless or built-up to a full coverage. I like the option of different wears which not a lot of foundations give and I particularly like using my Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge to work it into my skin for a flawless and natural finish.
Eye wise, I picked up the Aqua Cream in 16 Pink Beige ($23.00), which gives me major rose gold vibes! Who doesn’t love a bit of rose gold right? I really like how long lasting and non-creasing these ACs are and I’d love to try more colours. I like to use this either on it’s own or as a base to intensify other eyeshadows such as the Urban Decay Naked 3 palette. I went looking for the famous Smoky Lash Mascara but it seemed to have sold out so I picked up the newer version, Smoky Extravagant Mascara ($24.00) which I’ve really been enjoying using. It’s super black, defines my lashes and is really long-wearing. It say’s it’s clump free but I’ve found it gives a slight clump when layered but I don’t mind a bit of clump.
I can’t wait to add to my collection when MUFE comes to Debenhams soon. They provided the make up for the Fifty Shades of Grey movie and have even released a limited edition collection to celebrate the movie.
Have you tried any MUFE products?
Love, Kate xo
