The Body Shop Shea Sugar Body Scrub

I do love me some goodies from The Body Shop! I picked up the Shea Sugar Body Scrub the other week as my Early-Harvest Raspberry Scrub was on it’s last legs.

I adore the Shea range as I’ve bought the Body Butter a few times and I find it really comforting and nourishing.
Thankfully, the Shea Sugar Body Scrub is just as lovely as the butter as it leaves my skin super smooth and makes easy work of de-scaling the ol’ limbs. As it’s sugar based, it has quite a bit of grit to the texture which I really like because there’s no point in having very fine textured scrubs that barely shift the dead skin cells. This works into the skin nicely and whilst it isn’t overly abrasive, the nourishing oils take over and work in conjunction to buff the skin and leave it soft and nourished.
This stuff is brilliant, it’s not often that a scrub is nourishing as well as abrasive which I think is the best part about this scrub. My skin, especially my legs feel softer than ever before. It’s actually hard to believe it’s my skin!
Once I’ve used the scrub, I finish with the Body Butter to lock in the moisture and keep my skin hydrated. What’s great is that the scrub is only £13 for a generous 200ml tub which lasts a long time.
The Body Shop always have offers online so I definitely recommend picking up products there!
