Revlon ColorStay Foundation (30ml) – £12.49
Yes, another foundation – don’t worry there’s another two posts on the horizon!
Revlon’s ColorStay foundation has been on my ‘foundation list’ for a while now but it was only ticked off a few weeks ago. Since then I’ve been giving it a whirl.
Firstly, I absolutely loathe screw top foundations that come sans pump. Whoever came up with this idea needs a slap because it couldn’t be more frustrating. The chances of spillage/wastage increase considerably when there is no pump plus I’m a complete klutz. In fact, I have 4 foundations without pumps and I’ve finally snapped. So, I’ve ordered 4 pumps from eBay to rid me of this irritation.
Rant aside, I’m pleasantly surprised with this foundation it’s much better than I thought it would be. Easily the best drugstore foundation I’ve used (sorry Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum), it gives a medium but buildable coverage with a semi-matte finish. I picked out the oily/combination variation simply because my skin is a touch oily in the t-zone and I’m glad I did because all I needed was a touch of powder and I was set all day. The foundation was easily one of the longest wearing ones I’ve worn and felt comfortable all day.
Have you tried this? Or loving any other drugstore foundations?
Love, Katie xo
