More of That ABH Glow…

The other week, I posted all about the Anastasia Beverly Hills Glow Kit in Gleam. I adore that palette. So much so that I recently picked up the new Glow Kit  because one kit just isn’t enough. That and I have a serious case of ‘highlighter-itis’ where the struggle is most definitely real.

So, ABH have released the Glow Kit in Sun Dipped (£39) which features 4 stunning, bronze and gold-laiden highlighters. I’m normally one for a pinkier toned glow but I thought I’d roll with it and try this kit out. For ‘research purposes‘.

Upon opening the packaging I was a little shocked at how dark the shades looked and thought I’d over sold in my mind, any kind of tan I had. I immediately felt the lighter shades would be more suited to my skin tone but alas that wasn’t the case. In fact, the darker shades actually looked good with my skin tone and applied just as beautifully as the lighter shades. I’m actually a tad obsessed with the more taupey shade, Tourmaline at the moment which I did not expect.

Bronzed is pretty self explanatory – it’s a super pigmented, warm almost coppery bronze shade that’s hella beautiful. It’s rather unusual in shade compared to your standard highlighters. Summer is the most yellow toned gold and lightest of the bunch but the most luminous.

Tourmaline, as I said is my current favourite. It’s slightly chocolatey but taupe in the most beautiful way. It’s definitely the star of the palette for me. Finally, Moonstone is a yellow toned gold, similar to Summer but is more opaque and has a more metallic sheen.

See how gorgeous these are? If your skin is fair but more towards medium and darker, this will look stunning on you. Especially deeper skin tones. If you’re pale-fair, I’d go for ‘Gleam‘ instead.

The question is do I now need to source ‘That Glow‘ to have a trifecta of unnecessary highlighters?

What’s your favourite highlighter?

Love, Kate xo
