The following MAC lipsticks are finishes which I haven’t really bought hence only having 1 lipstick of each finish
Costa Chic – Frost
I normally avoid frost finishes, I find them slightly alien and unflattering. They have a metallic sheen to them which I find really hard to wear. That being said, Costa Chic was too pretty to pass up as it’s a really pretty coral that’s surprisingly easy to wear. I’ve been rocking it most of the summer and don’t plan on stopping soon.
Candy Yum Yum – Matte
I have a bit of a fear of matte lipsticks, I worry that the lack of sheen will give my lips a really flat and dry finish. Candy Yum Yum is an infamous MAC shade having been sold out twice in limited edition collections and eventually (and rightly so) joining the permanent line. It’s a super fluorescent hot pink that’s the perfect pop of colour especially for nights out. I find this really comfortable to wear, it’s not as drying as I’d anticipated and the colour pay off is fantastic.
Creme Cup – Cremesheen
Creme Cup had been on my wish list for as long as I can remember and when I finally got my hands on it, safe to say it was love at first wear. It’s the perfect mix of nude and pink for a really soft, feminine lip. The cremesheen finishes are lovely, whilst they’re not very opaque they are super comfortable to wear.
Love, Katie xo
