If you read my post on the LF May 2016 Beauty Box, you’ll know the top beauty retailer has been creating boxes for a little while now. I have all the pricing details in that post so if you want to read that before this…hop right to it. I have received this months offering and I’m here to give you the lowdown.
The June Beauty Box* has a #LFJetsetter theme with the products being selected as they can get you travel ready for the summer months.
My box includes mainly skin andbody focused products ready to prep you for your summer holidays. I wished there had been more makeup items but that’s just my preference in beauty boxes and doesn’t 100% work with the theme at hand.
Let’s start with the most exciting product in the box – at least for me anyways – Caudalie Premier Cru Eye Cream (full size is £49) as I’m a sucker for travel sized eye creams and I’ve hardly tried any Caudalie skincare. This is a rich and jousting anti-ageing cream that would be perfect for long-haul flights!
Hand cream is a travel essential and the box does not disappoint as there is a generously sized Cowshed Cow Pat Moisturising Hand Cream inside.
Keeping with skincare, there is also a Naobay Oxygenating Moisturising Cream (full size is £32.95) which I instantly gravitated towards as it is a brand that I’m not familiar with. The ethos of the brand is natural and organic products which I tend to gravitate towards. This lightweight, fast absorbing cream aims to increase hydration using Rosehip and Sweet Almond oil. I think this too would be perfect for flying – slap it on and forget about it.
The box also includes a Korres Basil and Lemon Shower Gel (full size is £8) and is a handy travel sized option that you can take in your liquids bag and it doesn’t take up a load of space. This is a fresh and slightly tangy scent that is suited to the warmer months.
Adding some colour into the mix is the Dead Sea Spa Magik BB Cream (full sized is £13.50) which I cannot wait to try. I have loved everything DSS since it started being stocked in Tesco and this looks like a great ‘by the beach’ perfecting product.
TanOrganic Self-Tan Oil (full size is £24.99) is an interesting product as it is non-oily self tanner. The idea is to use it for 4 consecutive days and it will give you a natural, moisturised tan. I’m excited to try this on my legs!
Finally, what trip would be complete without some teeth whitening strips? There are 3 sachets of the Mr Blanc Minty Fresh Teeth Whitening Strips which I shall definitely be trying shortly.
I’m really impressed with how well thought out this box is and I can see myself using every product.
Have you tried a LF box?
Love, Kate xo
