I think it’s safe to say, in the past year that Laura Mercier is rising through the ranks and becoming one of my all time favourite brands. During the sales last month, I decided to branch out and try some of their famous body goodies I’d heard so much about. Originally, I got my Mum the mini-body cream set for Christmas and she loves them so much. I was a tad jealous so picked up a duo which included the Creme Brûlée Soufflé Body Creme.
Wow. Probably the best way to describe it really. This stuff is absolutely incredible and beyond luxe, in fact I’m a bit annoyed at myself for buying it because it’s £44.50 to buy on it’s own. My Christmas set was around £25.00. They really knock the prices down come sale time, so definitely keep and eye out. A special occasion treat? Definitely. I think once I use this up, I shall have to be without until Christmas because I really can’t justify spending such a colossal amount on a body creme. Yikes.
That being said, I don’t need to use much as it’s quite a rich formula although strangely very light and sinks in like an absolute dream. I tend to use this when I want my skin to feel super-soft and silky – honestly my legs have never felt so nourished and smooth.
The scent is extremely rich but I love Creme Brûlée so I was bound to enjoy it – I would say it’s strong but not overpowering or sickly. I think it just adds to the luxe and I can see why so many people rave about the Laura Mercier body and bath goodies.
Have you tried any Laura Mercier body products?
Love, Katie xo
