Introduction to Jurlique

For the longest time, Jurlique had been on my list of brands I wanted to try but somehow had never got round to trying. That’s all changed thankfully and I’ve recently been trying two of their products. Jurlique is an Australian founded natural skincare brand that prides themselves on being ethical and environmentally friendly. There are various botanical ranges within the brand – Rose, Lavender, Citrus, Jasmine and Calendula for different skin types and concerns. These are easily navigated as the packaging represents each range and they’re colour coordinated.

First up, the extremely popular Rosewater Balancing Mist* (£18) which is for normal to combination skin that I absolutely adore. This beautiful mist hydrates and refreshes the skin post cleanse and I’ve been using this daily. I think this is particularly appropriate for the warmer months as the Rosewater scent is rather invigorating. You can use this at any time to refresh and tone the skin but I prefer to use it during my skincare routine. The bottle is 50ml so even the most avid of oversprayers will get their money’s worth.

My skin can be really sensitive this time of year and if it flares up, I can end up struggling with itchy and ever increasing redness. The Calendula Redness Rescue Soothing Moisturising Cream* (£28) has been perfect for the days when my skin is more sensitive than usual.  This moisturiser is infused with Calendula and Camomile to soothe the skin whilst Avocado Oil hydrates and creates a barrier against environmental aggressors. This is a large 100ml tube of cream that will last quite some time. It’s not that often moisturisers come in such generous quantities.
Both of these products have been lovely to use with the mist being my top pick of the two. I guess I’m a sucker for facial mists!

Have you tried anything from Jurlique?

Love, Kate xo
