A little cheek love for Josie Maran

A few months back I made my first Sephora order and I picked up the Josie Maran Coconut Watercolor Cheek Gelee in the shade Pink Escape.

I’ll be honest, it kind of ended up in my draw and I probably swatched it once. Sometimes these things happen…but fast forward to last months favourites and I’ve fallen – delayed as it is – head over heels in love.
This product is like nothing I’ve used on my chubby cheeks before – it’s not remotely cream like so the first hurdle was application. After a lot of trial and error, I finally found a use for my old MAC 190 Foundation Brush – this is perfect for adding a lovely pop of colour on my cheeks. It softy sweeps the colour over my cheeks and blends like a dream. If I’m in a rush, using my ring finger does the job just as well but I’m such a pro-brush girl.
What I love is that the colour really lasts all day and does not budge at all. The colour still looks as fresh as when it was first applied. My Mum’s tried it too and she loves it too. I really want to add some other colours to my collection because the formula is so lovely.
It’s a perfect blush for the hot summer months.Have you tried any Josie Maran products?

Love, Katie xo
