YOUTUBE | January Beauty Favourites

Well well, here we have the first monthly favourites of 2015. January has flown by (thankfully) and before we know it summer will be almost here.
I found it a little tricky picking items for my January Favourites because most of what I’m loving was featured in December’s bumper edition. I had a good think and the results are mainly make up based. Not that you’re complaining right?
TRESemme Texture Style Divine Definition Spray (£5.75) was my only hair love this month and it was by coincidence as I bought it to fill in temporary for my Bumble Dry Spun Finish which had come to a end in December. It’s a lightweight, volumising spray that works really well with my hair sans extensions as it gives it a good amount of grit and hold without feeling heavy or crunchy. Whilst I’ve enjoyed using this, I’m definitely going back to my trusty Bumble option despite this being a great stand in.
I’ve been loving the new Real Techniques Bold Metals (£10-£25) brushes and I’ve used them daily since I purchased them earlier in the month. I’ve done a full review on these which you can read here.
Blush has been my main love this month with theBalm taking centre-stage thanks to Hot Mama (£13.50)* and Cabana Boy (£14.50)* which are beautifully pigmented and give a gorgeous wash of colour to the cheeks. Read all about my thoughts on the brand here.
For lips, I’ve fallen head over heels in love with Charlotte Tilbury Lip Lustre in Sweet Stiletto (£16.50) because it’s the perfect light pinky, nude that goes with all my lipsticks. The formula is nice too, not too sticky and really smooth on the lips.
Y’all know I’m loving Too Faced Chocolate Bar Palette (£39.00) and I don’t need to say much but if you swing by my post here, you’ll get right up to speed.
My face has been really dehydrated and often dry recently so I’ve been benefiting from using The Body Shop Vitamin E Aqua Boost Sorbet (£12.00) which is unlike any other moisturiser I’ve used – it’s as the name would suggest, a sorbet like texture and it’s super cooling and hydrating.
When you spend half your time crying or staying up late, a good, de-puffing eye cream is required. Enter Benefit Puff Off Instant Eye Gel (£22.50)* which I reviewed earlier this week, here.
What have you loved this month?
Love, Kate xo
