HYDRATING/SOOTHING | UNA BRENNAN

Super Facialist By Una Brennan has become a long-time inhabiter of the skincare aisles of Boots over the past couple of years. Since then I’ve used a few of the products from the range and thoroughly enjoyed them. The brand is affordable yet feels luxe and high quality and it’s definitely one that I gravitate to whilst perusing the aisles of Boots.

I ticked a couple of products off my ‘list’ at Christmas when I received two of the Rose Hydrate range which as you’d guess, aim to hydrate the skin but more importantly target sensitive skin by keeping it calm and soothed.
During the warmer months, my skin goes into a bit of a sensitive meltdown and I get really dry and red patches along with eczema on my arms and neck. I began using these earlier in the year but moved onto other products but I’ve found myself reaching for them now more than ever.
Rose Hydrate Miracle Makeover Facial Oil (£14.99) – I thought this was used more as a night time facial oil but in fact it’s main feature is that it’s a cleanser! It works well to breakdown stubborn mascara and eyeliner whilst dissolving impurities and working deep down into the pores. This has a soft rose scent which works to soothe and calm my skin. I can use it as an overnight treatment too by popping a small amount into my hands and massaging it into the skin before leaving overnight. If you like your facial oils and more importantly, dual products this ones definitely worth a look.
Rose Hydrate Peaceful Skin Night Cream (£16.99) – Over time, I’ve found myself moving towards overnight masks and facial oils rather than night cream but that’s not to say that this one isn’t worth it. I actually find this to be one of my favourite night creams because of it’s perfect consistency – it’s not too thin that my skin drinks it up before I’ve turned the lights off nor does it end up all over the pillow during the night. I find this extremely hydrating, adding the plump back into lacklustre skin and I find when I wake my skin feels more alive and radiant.
I’ve been eyeing the Neroli Illuminate Eye Cream and the Tea Flower Anti-Shine Pore Minimiser for future purchases!
Have you tried anything from Superfacialist?
