I’m a massive fan of the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powders so when I heard a blush version was in the works, I was extremely excited!
I’ve tried a few Hourglass products over the past year and been really impressed.
“A truly next generation blush: This groundbreaking hybrid combines the customized lighting effects of Ambient Lighting Powder with an infusion of breathtakingly modern colors. The airy, lightweight powders deliver seamless, soft-focus color and a radiant
Unlike traditional blush, which tends to be flat, Ambient Lighting Blush exhibits depth and dimension. The integration of Photoluminescent Technology offers transformative coverage while instilling cheeks with an otherworldly flush. The six shades, which range from soft coral to cool pink, are a wardrobe of captivating accent lights for cheeks.
Paraben, talc, fragrance, nano-particle and gluten free.“
There’s six beautiful shades within the range so deciding on a shade was a tough one but in the end I went for Radiant Magenta. The marble-esque design on these blushes are so eye catching it’s easy to see why they’re flying off the shelves at Space NK. Twit twoo!
“Radiant Magenta: A golden fuchsia blush combined with Radiant Light for a summer glow.”
Whilst the shade is called Radiant Magenta it actually applies much peachier. The finish is very luminous but not glittery. The product is quite pigmented so you don’t need much to get gorgeous glowing cheeks.
One thing to note is that these are much smaller than the powder equivalent, they’re about 2/3 of the size.
I think these blushes are beautiful and for a brand of Hourglass’ calibre I think the price point is spot on.
