HAIRCARE SAVIOURS

I’ve been trying quite a few new hair care products over the past 6 months or so as you may have seen quite a few hair related posts since. There’s two recent additions that I am just so impressed with that I felt they needed their own little rave.
Bumble and bumble is one of my favourite hair brands, I have tried so many different products and been super impressed. The packaging’s pretty awesome too. I recently purchased their Hairdresser’s Invisible Oil after lusting after it for a seerrrriously long time. I adore my L’Oreal Mythic Oil and I’ve even repurchased it in the past (I hadn’t done so with a hair oil before) but I caved and nabbed this in a blogsale for a fraction of the price. £30 is a crazy amount to pay for a hair oil, in my opinion however, after using it for the past 2 weeks I’d definitely say it is 100% worth it.
Firstly, this is something I always do with hair oils – try one pump, maybe two on wet hair just to ensure I don’t overload my hair with oil and end up looking like a grease ball. When I use Mythic Oil, I tend to use about 4 pumps which sounds excessive but my hair literally drinks it up. Thankfully, I don’t have to do that with the Hairdresser’s Invisible Oil – just two pumps does the trick. I honestly cannot believe how this makes my hair feel, extremely soft and strong like no other oil has done before. It’s very lightweight and absorbs nicely without leaving a residue or weighing the hair down. It smells very sweet but not in a sickly way, I’d say I prefer the Mythic Oil scent but this oil is by far the best I’ve used. It even manages to reduce the amount of flyways I have too. Also, how fabulous is the orange bottle?
In conjunction with my latest Bumble purchase, I have been loving the Matrix Biolage Keratin Dose Pro-Keratin Renewal Spray. This is actually the remaining dregs from my friends bottle but I’m most definitely purchasing it myself. My hairdresser has been using this on my hair recently and it smells divine for starters – really hair dressy, if that makes sense? This product is truly wonderful and makes such a difference to dry, bleached hair in just one use. It is a lightweight, leave in keratin treatment which builds hair strength and resilliance and it is noticeable right away. My hair feels so much healthier and supple especially when I use the Bumble oil straight after.
This combination has really started to revive my hair on a regular basis along with bi-weekly hair masks. I feel my hair improving week on week and I have less breakage which is always a plus. It’s hard keep bleached/coloured hair in tip-top condition but I’m slowly getting there.
What are your go-to products to keep your hair looking healthy?
Love, Katie xo
