I am the biggest “award season” fan. Every year I try to watch as many of the nominated movies as I can and I literally cry at the acceptance speeches. I also spend hours refreshing twitter and watching E! for the red carpet arrivals. Clearly, I need to get out more!
Last year I did two posts on the beautiful dresses from the Golden Globes and Oscars which I thoroughly enjoyed and if you’ve seen my tweets from last night, you’ll know I was super excited. So, without further ado, in no particular order and all that jazz…

Seriously does JLo age in reverse? Either that or she’s pure vampire. If anyone can pull of boobs, leg and a freakin’ cape it’s this babe. I’m struggling to pin-point my favourite part of this dress because I love the shape, the pattern, the shade and the fabric. The super smokey eyes and big hair give Jennifer the extra sex bomb feel and I honestly am feeling a little confused about my sexuality.

If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. Winner once again, she loves a good one shoulder number doesn’t she? I love the pale, almost grey, lilac as it is a great contrast to Amy’s auburn hair. Not only that but I think the reason Amy loves to go for the one-shoulder is because she has the most fabulously toned arms.

All the grey for the upcoming Fifty Shades of Grey star and it works really well against Dakota’s pale skin. I really like the bottom half of the dress more than anything because the slit is really unusual and shows off Dakota’s amazing pins.
Cinderella moment right here for er…Cinderella? Anna looks like she’s floating on air in this ethereal design. I particularly like belt and I really don’t like belts on the red carpet usually but I’ll definitely make an exception. The neckline is particularly pretty as it’s not too exposing and it’s kept quite conservative in a good way.

Someone’s took note from Emma Watson last year! I adore this pantsuit, from the beautiful bodice to the amazing sash around the waist. This is so edgy and I adore Emma’s “lob” which really suits the entire outfit.

Sienna has long been one of my top girl crushes and last night just made me fall in love with her more. Let’s talk about that beautiful messy bob which makes us all want to grab the scissors. Her make up was done by the Queen aka Charlotte Tilbury. Now, back to the dress, I love the deep v-neck and whilst I’m not massively a pattern fan on the red carpet, this look was a throwback to Sienna’s boho days and I for one salute her for it.

Naomi never lets me down – she looks stunning every awards season and last night was no exception. The contrast between the bright yellow of the dress and the red lips was probably my favourite part of the entire look. I love that she recycled her Bvlgari snake necklace for this outfit! The fit of the dress is absolutely perfect but I’d expect nothing less from Naomi.

Another shoe-in for the best dressed list is Kate Beckinsale who, like JLo seems to be ageing in reverse! I love the top half of this dress, it is definitely something I could see my self wearing. I’d have probably skipped the earrings because they look a little too much with the dress.

Jenna is probably one of my favourite each red carpet season, she always looks stunning. I’m definitely feeling this lemon number, the fit and draping is wonderful. I adore her make up and that mid-length chop is giving me major envy.

I’m such a sucker for white and turquoise so when Emily rocked up in this MK number, I instantly fell in love. The milk-maid braid is to die for as well as the matte coral lip.

One half of the best dressed couple of the night, Diane’s dress is cut to perfection and fits her body like a glove. I love the texture of the dress as well as the high neckline. Diane’s hair screamed old school hollywood glamour and the overall look was pure screen-siren.
Finally, the best beard of the night goes to Mr Jamie Dornan because it was quite wonderful as usual.
So there you have my Best Dressed picks – who rocked it for you?
Love, Kate xo
