Glowing with Ole Henriksen

You may have seen my previous post on my first foray into Ole Henriksen and as it was such a success I jumped at the chance to try their Truth Sugar Glow Polishing Mask* (£38), especially as it was part of the same range as the cleanser.

This mask is designed to exfoliate dead skin cells by buffing them away to reveal smoother, more radiant skin. You start by applying the orange mask onto a cleansed, damp face avoiding the eyes and leave for 10 minutes. This allows the product to mesh with your skin before adding warm water and gently massaging the mask around your face in circular motions. Once you’ve done this for around 30-60 seconds, you can then remove the rest with a warm flannel or muslin cloth.

The sugar and pomegranate seeds are natural and work well at exfoliating the skin in a gentle but effective way making it perfect for more sensitive skin. I’ve been using this every other night and I’ve found my skin to feel a lot smoother and have an all round nicer texture. It feels soft without the mask taking my skins moisture away and it looks brighter.

It smells citrusy which I really like as it gives a fresh feel which works well with its intended purpose. Honey and Vitamin C help aid the brightening factor and because the ingredients are natural, I feel like I can use it 3/4 times a week without overly stripping my face.

Ole Henriksen is available at a wide range of stores including Debenhams who have free delivery on orders over £30.

What’s your favourite face mask?
