Don’t ya love it when you get a good mix of old favourites and shiny new products on the ol’ mug?
That totally happened a few weeks ago when I cracked out some long time favourites and popped the new Chanel foundation on.
So, I started by buffing the Chanel Perfection Lumiere Velvet all over my face – really loving this at the moment. It’s matte without being cakey and keeps the majority of the shine at bay. It’s very much an airbrushed version of my own skin, photoshop in a bottle anyone?
I filled my brows in with my current favourite, Anastasia Beverley Hills Brow Wiz in the shade Ash Blonde. This ickle pencil makes drawing on your brows an absolute doddle. 20 secs and your done.
I cracked out the big guns with some old favourite MAC eyeshadows – Patina, Woodwinked and Sumptuous Olive. I worked the Woodwinked all over the lid and used Patina to define with Sumptuous Olive on my lower lash line. I topped the eyes off with lashings of the Rimmel Lash Accelerator Endless Mascara.
I used my NARS One Night Stand palette to finish my cheeks – a little Laguna Bronzer and a swirl of the 4 blushes.
For lips I used Illamasqua Fable – I adore this shade, it’s a pale pink with a matte finish that lasts well on the lips, giving just the right amount of colour. I do have to wear lip balm underneath to avoid a chalky feel but it is lovely.
What do you think?
Love, Katie xo
