Hello you lovely people, as you may notice, this isn’t Kate writing this post. The lucky bugger has gone to Australia and left me here in the cold to fend for myself *plays violin music* It is in fact April from HelloApril (cheeky link there if you want to check me out)
I’m writing this particular post as I spoke to Kate about why she was selling her Kiehl’s Midnight Recovery Concentrate on her blog sale and was surprised to hear it just didn’t work for her. It is amazing how many mixed reviews products can get so I thought I’d give my thoughts on the little blue bottle.
I bought this little blue bottle of magic on a whim in space NK. I wanted to buy a new cleanser but ya know, these things happen. I’d heard good things about the concentrate but wasn’t 100% sure what to expect from it. The bottle comes with a little pipette and instructions to apply a few drops to your face overnight.  It felt more oily than serumy, so I decided to apply this after my moisturiser and go to sleep.
The first thing that hit me about this little beauty was the smell. It had a distinct herby evening smell, with some lavender notes. It put me in a nice calm mood ready for bed.  In the morning my skin felt moisturised but at first glance I didn’t notice any drastic change. After using the product for a month now I can definitely see a difference in the radiance of my skin. My skin just looks brighter and more even in the morning, just what I want on a cold winters day.

Let us (Kate and I) know what you thought about this product in the comments, as we are mixed!
