Dr Jart Bubble Foam Cleanser (100ml) – £13.00
I’ve really been getting into my cleansers recently – especially when I picked up the Dr Jart Bubble Foam around 6 weeks ago. I have easily incorporated using different cleansers into my shower routine (cos I’m lazy yo!)
I’d heard great things about Bubble Foam and it was this post by Alix that caught my eye first. So when Boots has its never ending 3 for 2 going on, that’s always the most appropriate time to try new things. The skincare in there has become a hot bed of facial activity in recent months with fantastic brands such as La Roche-Posay, Vichy, Avene and Dr Jart have made their way onto the shelves.
The first thing I will say about this product is that I love the packaging, it’s simple yet eyecatching and the price is reasonable too.
My skin is quite normal but can lean towards the oily side when it comes to my t-zone so I like to keep the oil in check throughout my skincare routine. You can see a video on that here.
This cleanser is aimed to tackle clogged pores and control sebum – it has two types of bubbles working their magic; larger bubbles to remove dirt (including make up) from the face and smaller, micro bubbles to deeply cleanse the pores.
Firstly, I dampen my face and take a small blob of Bubble Foam in my hands and begin to massage it around my face. It is quite a creamy cleanser which I like and the witch hazel and sage scent is very natural and invigorating. I have no irritation with this product at all. The ingredients were specifically chosen to give you the best possible results.
- Sage extract – helps to calm red, irritated skin
- Rosemary extract – Acts as a natural disinfectant and anti-inflammatory to reduce skin trouble
- Gall extract – Helps to tighten enlarged pores
- Witch Hazel extract – a well-regarded disinfectant
My skin is left deeply cleansed with a matte finish that isn’t drying in any way. I’m really enjoying this product and I’m starting to tot up a list of other products from the brand that I’d like to try.
Have you tried this? Do you like cleansers?
Love, Katie xo
