If last year you’d asked me if I’d wear anything by Collection 2000, I’d have said no simply because the brand was so far down my mental beauty brand pecking order.
Fast forward to the back end of last year and all my favourite bloggers were raving about this ‘lasting perfection’ concealer, surely such a cheap concealer couldn’t be so amazing right? Wrong.
So I popped into my local boots, thought I’d give it a go and now it literally does not leave my make up bag. I barely use my MAC Studio Finish and Select Cover Up concealers because I find that the Collection one does everything I need. It’s great at covering up spots, under eye bags and any blemishes. I find it easy to blend, not at all heavy and lasts all day.
One downside is the packaging, once it’s spent a week in your make up bag you’ll be lucky if you can read the label. However, for the price and the quality of the product, I’m not bothered in the slightest.
The only other downside is the colour availability. There’s currently only 4 shades to chose from with 4 being the darkest, I use 3 and I’m not the darkest of skin tones by any stretch of the imagination. I feel it would be far too light for darker skin tones which is a shame.
Overall, one of the best cheaper buys I’ve ever found.
What cheaper products are you loving right now?
Love, Katie xo
