Ever since Cohorted launched their monthly beauty box, they have been shrouded in secrecy and sold out almost instantly. What makes this box different from others on the market?
Well firstly, there’s no subscription to Cohorted as with other beauty boxes and also you can pre-order a box for just £19.99 and whilst April’s box is sold out, you can still get your hands on the May-July ones if you’re quick!
Cohorted are known for sourcing high end products but for affordable prices and this has been a main driving force in their beauty boxes. The products being a secret is a very exciting part of the box but there’s also the added knowledge that hidden in 5 of the 300 boxes is a full sized bonus gift. For the March Beauty Box* it was the Too Faced Semi-Sweet Palette that’s not even available in the UK yet!
This box includes a lovely mix of products from all well known brands.
– Too Faced Exotic Color Eyeshadow in Copper Peony (RRP £15)
– Urban Decay Perversion Mascara (sample size RRP £5.00)
– bareMinerals Pure Transformation Night Treatment (RRP £45)
– Sleek Precious Metals Highlighter Palette (RRP £.9.99)
The box is worth a total of £74.99 which is brilliant considering the box is just £19.99.
Now, for the low-down on each product…
bareMinerals Pure Transformation Night Treatment
This is the most interesting of the products because whilst it may look like a mineral foundation but it is in fact a powder that you buff into the skin on an evening to work essentially as skincare. It’s aim is to reduce the appearance of pores, uneven skin tone and to leave the skin brighter and more youthful. I’m intrigued to give this a go as I’ve never used a powder as skincare before!
Sleek Precious Metals Palette
Who doesn’t love a cream highlight? Sleek palettes usually get a positive response and this one is beautiful. It has 4 shades, suitable for a wide range of skin tones and uses. They’re very pigmented and blend well.
Too Faced Exotic Color Eyeshadow in Copper Peony
I adore my Too Faced Chocolate Bar Palette so I was excited to receive one of their single shadows in such a gorgeous coppery shade. The finish is almost foiled and extremely pigmented and will look gorgeous with a tan this summer.
Urban Decay Perversion Mascara
I actually have this mascara but I’m delighted to have a sample sized version as I’m going away in June and I just love travel sized versions of products, especially mascara. This gives a good amount of volume and thickness whilst remaining really black.
I’m very impressed with this box especially as I knew all the brands included which is something I really look for in a beauty box. Check back soon for the April box!
Have you picked up one of these boxes?
Love, Kate xo
