Cloud 9 Quick Dry Potion

cloud-9-quick-dry-potion-review
This little bottle of pretty blue product is my first Cloud 9 outing surprisingly. Despite being pretty clued up on the brand, I’d never actually tried any of their styling products or tools. Bad blogger.
So, today I have a little review on the Cloud 9 Magical Quick Dry Potion* which is a nifty multi-purpose spray. Once you’ve washed and conditioned your hair, you spray the product through the hair from root to tip, covering your entire head before blowdrying.
Firstly, this product smells amazing – it very much has a sea breeze kind of smell which really drew me in. Now, I’m a bit skeptical when it comes to these “all singing and dancing” slightly gimmicky products.
This in particular aims to give extreme heat protection but also provide you with a reduced drying time.
Seems to good to be true right?
I have mid length, very fine hair that strangely takes a fair while to dry so I was excited to put this to the test. Well, it definitely passed the test because it not only protected my hair from the heat of the hairdryer but it also halved – yes halved, my drying time. My hair usually takes a good 10/15 minutes to get 90% dry and after using this, it takes pretty much less than 10 minutes.
Less drying time is an absolute must for me, the less the better. Mainly because I hate drying my hair but more importantly because my hair has been falling out recently and if I can help avoid heat and over processing, I will do.
Protecting and caring benefits:
■ Reduces drying time on average by half
■ Protects from the damaging effects of the sun with a UV filter
■ Nourishes hair over time with a weightless leave-in conditioner
■ Acts as a heat protector and shields hair from damage
■ Helps tame unmanageable hair
■ Strengthens weakened or damaged hair
■ Anti-static
■ Prevents frizz and flyways
■ Acts as a setting lotion when used in conjunction with heated rollers and Cloud Nine’s The O
I’m very impressed with this offering from Cloud 9 as I’ve noticed a difference in the feel and strength of my hair since using it and I’m intrigued to try other products they have.
How long does it take to dry your hair?
