I popped into Debenhams last week with my Mum and ended up at the Clarins counter. Over Christmas she’d ditched her usual Decelor cleanser/toner in favour of Clarins and needed to restock. They had an amazing 400ml of cleanser for just £23 rather than £19 for 200ml. If you’re into your Clarins cleansers – keep an eye out. The frequent – buy two items get a gift – offer was on and you could pick 4 good sized samples to go with a lovely travel bag designed by John Rocha who has his own line in Debenhams. Keeping it in the family huh?
I’ve personally never tried anything from Clarins so when my Mum went back a second time, this lovely little gift set found it’s way into my mitts. I instantly picked the Instant Light Lip Perfector in 01 Rose Shimmer because I hear so many good things about them and I’ve always wanted to try them. I’ve used mine a few times and I can see why Anna goes on about them all the time! Then, being the make up addict that I am, the Bronzing Powder Duo in 02 Medium soon followed suit and it’s just the right amount of warmth and pigment not to go overboard. This even made it’s way into my night-out bag because it’s so cute and compact.
Skincare wise I added the HydraQuench Cream which I thought after might be a little rich for my skin but a small amount works wonders especially on a night. Finally, the Instant Eye Make Up Remover was added into the mix again from hype alone and so far so good.
So, thank you to my Mama who was so kind to go back and buy more things so I could have a gift. Only once would have sufficed however like me, she doesn’t particularly like sharing.
Have you tried much Clarins?
Love, Katie xo
