BITE: Deconstructed Rose Lip Library

About a month ago, I was watching a USA haul from Fleur and Amelia after they’d been shopping in Dallas and I immediately knew theBite Deconstructed Rose Lip Library would end up in my Sephora basket.bite-deconstructed-rose-lip-library

I’m a massive lip junkie and I couldn’t spot a shade that I didn’t like.
Naturally, around a week later I had my mitts on this beautiful set which has 12 deluxe sample size rose scented shades. The packaging is a beauty bloggers dream and is very sturdy which keeps it practical.
I’m glad I picked it up when I did as it seems to have sold out online – if you keep an eye on Sephora, it may come back into stock. It retails for $49 which is around the £30 mark which I don’t think is a bad price for 12 lovely glosses.

Shades 1-6

Shades 7-12

I’m super impressed by these glosses, they’re nicely pigmented especially the darker, brighter shades. There’s not a ‘dud’ shade in this collection at all. The lighter shades are perfect for everyday wear or for balancing out a dark, smokey eye. The brighter end of the library are equally as wearable and feel almost like a liquid lipstick.
The rose scent is lovely too, not too overpowering but it lingers and makes the lip glosses taste quite yummy. If you’re not a fan of rose scented products, this set isn’t for you.
The formula is wonderfully glossy, applies evenly and isn’t particularly sticky. The gloss lasts quite well on the lips and you’re left with a slight stain. They layer nicely too and are really easy to apply especially as the doe foot applicator is the perfect shape and size for the lips. I can get a pretty good cupids bow with these glosses which, considering my CB is non-excisent is a bonus.
Sadly, this isn’t available in the UK but if you can get your hands on it via Sephora or if you’re in/visiting the US, then I definitely recommend it.
What are you favourite lip glosses?
