When I finished my Elemis Rehydrating Rosepetal Cleanser a little while back, I was browsing boots when I came across this cleanser. I believe I had heard of it from watching one of Estée‘s haul videos. I love my foaming cleansers, see previous post but when I’m feeling a bit lazy or in a rush, I tend to grab this and a cotton pad to rid myself of make up and any grime left over from a hard days work. Yes, I sit in an office.
I’ve had a tendency to get dry eye lids which can cause me much irritation so the gentle factor appealed to me straight away. This cleanser is fragrance-free, oil-free, paraben-free and hypoallergenic, so by using the bare minimal ingredients, it is in no way harsh on the skin but still does a good job at actually cleaning the face.
I’m really enjoying this cleanser, it is a much more watery consistency than the Elemis cleanser which is cream based. It cleans my face quickly and without much force. Now, as it’s made up of 96% Thermal Water Spray – how can I convince myself I don’t need to buy that too?
What other Avene products would you recommend?
